For us, running is about more than just pounding the pavements. As much as possible, we explore the trails, towpaths and canals of our city. As we continue to grow, we're already looking to organise weekend trail running trips to escape the urban jungle.
As a community of runners, we take our nutrition seriously. In our opinion, there's nothing better than relaxing after a long run with a big plate of nutritious food and a great bunch of people. At FATRUN London, we believe being a better runner is about more than getting the miles in on the treadmill. We think the best way to become a better runner is to make healthy decisions in all aspects of our lives...from our weekly training program, to what we put in our body through nutrition, to how we recover from exercise and even who we spend our time with.
In a nutshell, we promote being functionally fit, eating nutrient-dense foods that are in season, being out in the fresh air, and perhaps most importantly doing it all with other likeminded people.
