Your Road to London
So here we are, March 21st, 4 weeks out from the London Marathon.
If you're running the race - especially if it's your first time - we're hugely excited for you! Being cheered on by huge crowds through Westminster and crossing the finish line on The Mall is something that will live with you for the rest of your life.
All the hard work over the past few months - picking yourself off the sofa to run in sub zero temperatures, sacrificing time with family to train, turning down a trip to the pub in favour of a date with the treadmill - is about to come to fruition. For the next month, it's time to focus, take each day as it comes, do your best and trust that if you do that you'll walk away from London with a medal in your hand and a smile on your face.

Even if this is your first marathon, you'll now know that running a marathon means weaving together several strands - of course there's running fitness, then there's a nutrition plan and a race day strategy, then there's strength of body...and then finally, perhaps most importantly, there's strength of mind to push through when the going gets tough.
To help you weave together those strands, we've teamed up with our friends at Saucony to create a team of some of the best minds in running. Athletes, coaches, experts & inspiring people to support you and give you the knowledge you need to achieve the best London marathon you can this year!
From 1st to 26th April, you'll be able to attend a series of events with those people across London.
Tickets for each event will go on sale over the coming weeks.
For those of you who aren't able to join us in-person, we'll be live streaming events via Mile 27 and Saucony on Facebook, and will post out all the best bits from each event on the Running Life blog.
